Ooh, looks like it must've smarted. Since it's your left ring finger, does this preclude a wife forcing a wedding ring on ya'?

Some years ago, I was living with a woman in suburban Philadelphia.

I worked from 6 a.m to 2:30 p.m. and she worked a more conventional 9-5 shift.

We had a modest one-bedroom apartment in a high-rise complex.

One afternoon, I came home at the usual time and walked into our bedroom.

The mattress, pillows and wall behind the bed had a sheet of blood sprayed on them. Blood was everywhere — it looked like someone had been shot with a riot gun, because the blood covered such a wide area.

I immediately called my girlfriend, who had no idea what happened. Then I called the cops and they came out and spent about half an hour going through the place.

The cops didn't know where it came from and neither did I.

Scared the living crap out of me, and to this day, I don't know how it happened.

Yeah, but the Shadow do. Lol. On the serious side, it does sound most disconcerting. Did the investigators say whether it was animal or human blood?

That f-150 looks in pretty bad shape for rolling over.

Animal. But no explanation how or why it might have gotten there.

No other creepy evidence by the perpetrators? Chicken feathers or finger painted pentagrams?

Nothing.

And that was the creepiest part of it.

Believe me, we tore the place apart looking for physical evidence and there was none.

Maybe it was a huge, bulimic leech regurgitating it's last meal.
