That a big turbo for a v6. 78mm the spool time will be well over 3500 rpms. That turbo would be good on a v8. What car was it used on?

Have you measured the wheel? The reason I ask it because after perusing google and looking through different forums and greddy's own website, I think the Greddy T88-33d is a 66mm turbo which would run on our cars. I run a 67mm on my v6. Also it makes sense why your friend had it because 66mm turbos are popular with the supra guys. However, if you measured the compressor inducer and it is actually 78mm, it might truly be greddy's largest turbo the T88-38x unless your friend customized the t88-33d by adding a new compressor housing and 78mm compressor wheel.

Hmm, okay thanks for the info. I'll ask him about it and see what he says. How do you like the turbo on your car?

Yup, just spoke to him and he did customize it by adding the 78mm compressor. I think it will more too much high end, I wanted something more consistent and with low end power as well.
