For the record, you do not need a tune for headers. You will pull more power out of your bolt ons, but it is most certainly not required. However, you may get a CEL showing cat inefficiency. It does not affect performance though.

If you're on a tight budget, look at the stainless power or tsp. They can be had much cheaper than kooks and arh, and will not affect performance. What you're paying for with kooks and arh is a name and build quality. I went with Kooks, and would have gotten ARH if they weren't on backorder at the time. As long as you go with one of the brands mentioned in this thread, you shouldn't have an issue.

There's 3-4 guys selling their headers in the marketplace, some in the TX section. Headers are headers. I have Kooks. If I did it over again I'd do TX speed and put that money somewhere else.

Actually headers aren't headers.
With TSP headers you get polished stainless
merge collector & velocity spike all for awesome pricing!!

Well I'm still deciding on the headers... What other parts could I put in that would give it a better performance?

I don't remember TSPs being that price when I bought mine, but if I was pulling the trigger today, I would go with those TSPs. Mine work perfect and fit like a charm, but TSP makes some pretty good stuff and that is pretty close to eBay pricing.

So I have the Borla s-type catback, Looking at going with the TSP set-up.
25-TSP5304H
So I'm thinking "off-road" extensions, this will bolt right up to my existing setup right? I could care less abaout emisions as inspections are NOT required in Michigan, This will run better than cats correct? I'm also thinking I need to check the Mass Airflow sensor and see if I have the good one, If not maybe get a jet high perf MAS. Just looking for some input fellas Thanks in advance.
