My lifter tick problem has been resolved! All I had to do was rip them out, throw them in a box, replace with LS7 lifters. No more ticking.....

My new lifter tap continues. Having the dealer change them seems to have been a waste of time. I see the problem has been carried over to the 2011's. FORD must be behind this! LOL. DOD kit is the only solution!

This is probably what I'll end up doing as well...

If you still have the problem that means that they put the old lifter design back in the engine. This ocurrence is from oil bleed down in the lifter after the car is shut off for two or more hours the oil bleeds out of the lifter and then takes awhile to refill and compress therefore the tapping noise at startup. The new design of lifter eliminates this problem. My dealer was great after I showed him the TSB, old ones out, new ones in in one day. They preordered the parts. Find a quality dealer who knows what they are doing and ask them about the experience of the guy or gal working on your ewngine before you let them open her up. The mechanic who did mine used to rebuild racing engines so I knew he would do it right.
