My dealer told me I might receive a order verification call from GM. He said some dealers are being sneaky and ordering Camaros using thier family members names and information, to try and build up a little bit of inventory. Has anyone received a call from GM or experienced this and at what stage of the waiting process did you receive it, if you did get a call.

I wish they would call me, I would tell them to hurry up and pull all the R6P orders and my order too!

My dealer told me the same thing when I ordered in Feb but I never received a call.

I think what they are talking about is the person in charge of ordering the cars calls to ask if there are any changes to your order before it is scheduled for production.
