Throttle body
So I'm getting ready for Bo to work his magic and after pulling off my throttle body I can't help but think it should be cleaner than this. I guess this is why all of you say buy catch cans. Is this normal looking or should I be concerned?

Thats not bad at all. The catch can wont keep your TB cleaner, it will keep your manifold cleaner.

How many miles are on that? My throttle body with 45k had a lil darker ring around it but the blade was still shiny. However I believe it only got the dark ring cuz the air intake was loose. I didn't have none of that "rust" or "washed up" look on the blade.

36k on the clock. So it isn't brand new anymore, but still not THAT many miles. (I keep vehicles 170k+ miles typically.) Just was wondering about how typical this was and if having a little oil on it was normal or not.
