2 things...

1- Raptors are awsome, just over priced.
2- F150 5.Br0 > Ecoturd

That is all.

I trust the engineering behind GM vehicles, the testing they undergo, and most importantly the quality of the engines. Ford makes good trucks. GM makes the best trucks.
I agree that GM makes great trucks. I have many of them in my business all 3/4 ton and 1 tons though. I just can't get past of the looks of the 1/2 ton GMC and Chevy trucks.

To me the Raptor is a bargain. There are many trucks that cost more.

If it was a bargain in my area I would currently own one. 70k...

I ended up with a 2013 Silverado with a 6.2L instead. Not as nice but does the same job.

Well, I can't image that your Gt500 was a bargain either. I did pay less for my Gt500 but that was in 2010.

Compared to what I shell out for my diesels it is a bargain.

You have to respect it and the singular place it holds in the truck world.
I know, I was being facetious.

Compared to a 2014 GT500, my 2010 GT500 is a bargain. lol

I don't think diesel vs gasoline is comparable.

Well that's just it. There isn't anything comparable to a Raptor in stock forum. That's why it is a bargain for me when there are regular 1/2 ton trucks that cost as much if not more.

So my 1/2 ton silverado with the same size engine as the raptor isn't comparable?

I do kind of agree with you due to the fact that my silverado will out tow the raptor for at least $15k less. Lol

Uh no, I sell Fords and whenever we get one we have NO problem selling it.

Not to me it isn't. For one The silverado isn't unique. The Raptor looks are unmistakable. It has a much better 4WD system than the silverado, it has much longer wheel travel, it has better more capable shocks, it has 35" tires, 4:10 gears, more ground clearance, very nice upscale seats and a host of standard features that makes it a bargain. Oh and did I mention how awesome it looks.
I know one think, When I drive my 2500 Chevy LTZ, which by the way cost more than my Raptor, no one could care less. I've had this Raptor for going on two weeks now and every time I go anywhere I get thumbs up and people coming up to look at it. This truck is much more than just a motor.

If Chevy would build a truck like the Raptor I would probably buy one if they made the looks unique like Ford did with the Raptor. They need to do something to improve the looks of the 1/2 Silverado before I would be a buyer.

I agree that the raptor is awesome and it is one of my favorite trucks.

You will never convince me that it is a bargain for at least $15k more. lol

I needed towing capacity over 8500lbs. Raptor can't do that from the factory.

As for the 4.10s, it needs at least that rear gear due to having the 35s and it gets poor gas mileage because it rolls on big meats.

The shocks don't impress me, I don't run the baja....

If I want to tow I use one of my 2500's or 3500's. If you drove one the shocks would impress you because this is the best riding and handling 4wd truck I've ever owned and I've have many. Like I said, I bought because there is nothing else like it on the road and I like unique vehicles. To me a GT500 and a ZL1 are both bargains too for what you get. Many people have your same thought about them because you can get cheaper versions of the same cars. That wasn't my point. Like I said in an earlier post, you have to drive one to appreciate what it is.

Glad you're happy with the truck you have.

I have driven one, and I have owned many 4x4s over the years.

Unlike you, I only want 1 truck and I need it for towing not for showing off, although thumbs up are always welcomed. lol
