Whats the easiest way to do it there being a pain in the ass to take off? It's ready to pop off I think it's just a little rusted and the torque screw is out

If there are any round clips on the studs make sure that they are removed, then wack w/ a heavy rubber mallet... left side right side, top then bottom...

Thanks one more question, the pads sit in metal sliders can I rip those off to paint the calipers or should I leave them on. I feel I would damage them if I tried to take them off

Take it off you get a better cleaning and a better paint covering then to mask everything off
