I was thinking of adding a 2300 Magna Charger. Is there a list of reputable shops in the greater Chicagoland area someplace in these forums? I am looking for a shop that knows what they are doing, and not someone that has "done it a couple times." (I got burned by the shop that did the AAC lighting, so I am looking to avoid potential headaches.)

Komet Motorsports In St. Charles. They do some work for a very big name shop when they get overloaded.

Call and speak with Kurt, he is one of the owners.

Grossinger Chevrolet actually has a great performance division with one of the most experienced camaro and corvette mechanics in the country. A hidden gem really. They are the only place I take my car, with the exception of Speed Inc for tuning.

Not sure whether you are familiar with Blackdog Speedshop or not. They are about an hour away from you I believe.
They have been specializing in Corvettes for years and had been running them in the GT class of the SCCA World Challenge Series up to last season.
They have made a switch this year and are running two Camaros in the GTS class. Check them out....
