Cars Going back in to get Apple TV put in :-)

So my car goes back in the shop on Sat. to get Apple TV installed and some other goodies like a 19" TV, 4G WIFI mobile hotspot and NAV TV to get video on the factory monitor

Super excited. Should be done by New Years.

Will post pics when done.

Yeah only place I can figure is in the trunk, would think it would take huge modifications to the dash to fit it.

Yes it's going in trunk on trunk lid with a custom modding. Not sure how they are doing the apple TV, but I have the 4g mobile wifii unit that will be being installed, and then whatever else they do to make it work. They are top notch, so I have no worries.

So how often do you have people in the trunk to be able to see this TV?

Yeah, I'm not grasping the need for this but maybe it's because I'm old...

I have a big audio set up in my car and I show my car, so at shows i wanted the video to go with my great setup. So now I can play music videos to the song that actually playing to give it that extra "holy shit" factor!

I've seen this at Camarofest5 III, it's been around awhile. Yep, it's mounted on the underside of the trunk, so all you do is open the trunk and BAM! get the crew to sit around and watch your favorite smokey burnouts

You can remove the AC power supply from the Apple TV and convert to DC with a USB cable for power.
