Lowered Ride Quality

For anyone who has lowered their camaro with springs or a full coil setup (without changing any of the out of the box dampening, stance settings etc etc). Big difference in ride quality? Or does it stay closely the same.

I think it's closely the same. Now if you do slam it into a big, giant pothole, then you can feel it a litte more. but for everyday driving, I don't notice it. I'm running Pfadt springs & sways.

If you do the springs.. do the sways too.. wow, what a handling difference the sways make on this car.

Eibach Pro Kit Plus (springs and sway bars): on a smooth road, you can't tell it's there. But there are some rough roads where it's pretty stiff... but not unpleasant for me. But it looks great, and tracks like a rocket on rails.

Me too. Really could not tell that much of a difference. The look was perfect IMO though.

With springs you will not notice a huge difference in the ride quality for most conditions, but as you push the car you will notice it a bit more.

With coilovers, you need to verify the heights and settings to properly install them, so this part isn't really the best question to ask. It's like asking how the super charger is out of the box with no tune. Our Normal Xa coilovers are very easy to setup and it doesn't take a lot of guess work.

I have the Pedders Xa Coilovers which ride extremely well but that will also depend on how firm a setting you use; there's 30 levels of adjustment so you can set it to a level you like.

My wife noticed a little rougher over bumps w/ the BMR springs I just put on, but until she said something I hadn't noticed much.

Rides like a muscle car should..

agreed, there is a lot to consider. Wont b making a suspension purchase for a bit. But i will probably end up with coils.

I have the Pfadt drop springs and I didn't notice any difference in ride quality when I put them on. However, the car corners MUCH better. (I put in the springs and sway bars.)
