Street Slayer vs LPE LS9 clutch.

I use to have the LPE LS9 clutch in my car. Didn't care much for it because I had the 20% stiffer than stock version. So with my new motor I swapped to the Street Slayer triple carbon. Check out the difference in weight.

I'm leaning more and more to Street Slayer when the time comes. Defiantly going to cost more up front but I haven't seen anything bad about them yet. I just hope I can put off a clutch change for a little while longer. That $1,600 almost buys my FAST Fuel Injection for my '69 that I've been wanting.

Street Slayer vs LPE LS9 clutch.

Yah 14.6 lbs vs 37.2 lbs. I hope it's worth the $3K price tag. They said the flywheel is even lighter than the LPE one too.

Launching a heavy car with a light clutch that doesn't slip very well can be tricky from my experience, MOI is key in helping getting a car off the line...

Well I've never heard anything bad about this clutch. Lots of good things I have heard. I'll find out soon.

I would like to know if anyone has ever measured the weight of the disks alone for comparison? Lighter disks should be easier for the synchros in the M6 to work against. These cars need all the help they can get when it comes to shifting smoothly.
