Correct Belt Sizes SLP UD Pulley?

I ordered the SLP Underdrive Pulley today, so naturally I've been researching everything that I need to have before it gets here. I've read in a few places that the belts that SLP recommends are too big. Anyone know if this is true? If so what sizes have you guys used?

SLP Recommended Belts:

Main Belt: Gates K060827 or 82.7" Equivalent
Accessory Belt: Gates K040353 or 35.3" Equivalent

I bought the ones that was in the manual, but they turned out to be too big. but I cant remember the sizes I went with. sorry.

you can ask tsp about the correct size, as they sell the belts with there 2010 TSP UD pulley ((which is exactly the same as SLP))

or you can just try the ones in there instruction ((maybe they have the correct sizes now?)) and just keep the receipt of the belts with you in case they turned out to be big (like mines) and just return them

and again the debate...i called SLP about this awhile ago, and as far as they knew, the instructions were good, and they didnt know of any issues. when i told them that people were finding the belts given were the wrong size, they said they would look into it....i have the damn pulley, and i want it on, but i want to do this job once.

I can assure you that those are the belt numbers that I have and that they fit with my powerbond underdrive pulley; the same one sold by Texas Speed. I believe that is also the same one as the SLP pulley too; just re-badged.

Buy the Gates belts listing on the instructions, no problems here.

The belts - DO NOT Fit.... the accessory belt, fits fine but the main Belt is To DAMM big.....

i have a 2015 Which has Electric Power Steering Pump vs the Old Hydraulic Pump, so the belt sizes listed are wrong.

No one seems to know the answer

Had a TSP UDP for my last engine before this one, me and tuner both thought it looked cheap, read stories of the SLP one falling apart like the stock "balancer" on here years ago, sold the thing uninstalled bought better the next time a Fluidampr and its directions showed the right length and wrong part number for the gates belt...LOL Bottom line I use better to do the job a harmonic balancer is supposed to do not like a oldschool SBC/BBC balancers stock that has a rubber ring basically holding two sections of metal together waiting to fail and barely stopping harmful vibrations.......though the ls3 is fairly well internally balanced I am cammed and my engine shakes with power...I under drive only the alternator as my idle is 950 so its a wash that drains nothing...underdrive a/c not a good idea, the power they say they make...pipe smoke... Just a few things IMO, I rely on the viscous silicone and the best fluidampr and ATI for actually helping the engine not get hurt from vibrations that damage things like bearings and timing chains........... Of course I am a old motorhead .

Thanks for the insight
