Go back and read his first post. What he missed was that the letters SS mean Super Sport and a 1SS has every performance option that a 2SS has. Once again, if the 2ss had real leather upholstery, I would have it. It does not, the majority of it is Vinyl.

Yea, what my Yankee Brother said, and they said we couldn't get along. See the Camaro has closed a huge chasm between Columbus GA and Boston, MA, that my friends is progress.

While ABM was the low runner for the 2010MY, don't forget GM hasn't sprayed this color since December. With every new Camaro, the ABM % drops so the current % is not reflective of what demand was while this color was available. When the decision was made to drop it, it was neck and neck with IBM and the difference was splitting hairs. Could have gone either way.

I've always wondered this myself. Why not have it as an option?

The way the trims are now it seems that there really isn't an equivalent of the 1LT for the V8s.

LS = 1SS
2LT = 2SS

As far as options go.

So for V6 you get your options of:

Bare Bones V6 = LS
Medium trim sans Leather, Gauge Cluster, Interior Sides (Lit) = 1LT
Fully optioned V6 = 2LT

And V8:

Bare Bones V8 = 1SS
Fully optioned V8 = 2SS

I'm not sure I understand the lack of that middle option or a combination of the lower and mid.

These stats are great but it only shows production...which means it includes all that are on dealer lots etc unsold. The initial Factory orders were 80% SS2 versions. Now every one seems to be looking for the 2LT's.
