Not exactly. It will still be lighter than the 20x8 on there now but with a little more safety margin than a 4" wide tire and wheel.

I can't imagine a front runner fitting on a 17x7 so your looking at radial street tires in the 225/50 size to get to 28" tall. Not a light set up compared to an actual skinny.

Personally, I like the idea of running a 17x7 instead of a true "skinny" wheel because no one makes a front skinny RADIAL tire that is 28" tall. I want to run a 28" dia. front so that it doesn't cause ABS/Stabilitrack malfunctions or lights. I know M&H makes a 28" bias ply front skinny, but a radial (that fits on a 7" wheel) would just be a much safer and certainly much more "streetable".

Well I'm back waiting again. What's the scoop? Anyone try them out yet? They make a decent 18" drag radial? Are they making 18" front skinnies? Or you gotta go 17" in the front? Just wondering....I kinda lost interest for a while and now I'm considering it again. I may just throw the towel in and get some light weight 20's with drag radials.

new wheel in the 18x10.5 is out

we just got them in friday

17x7 front, and 18x10.5 rear

if you have a 10, you have to remove the weight / balancer off the front brakes

Would the 18's work with CTSV 6 piston front calipers? I think the CTSV's come with 18" wheels, but not sure.
