I do appreciate the invite though...
Snow will not be the issue, just rain. It's more of a rain forrest up here in the Pacific Northwest. Portland weather will be about the same as Vancouver and Seattle. Still warm up here highs of 60+ lows 50's.

Thanks Mike,

I'm up in the air as to whether or not I'll be going to the mile this Friday.... two root canals Thursday may put the kybash on feeling like going... I'll probably wait and see how I feel Friday morning and may just leave early that morning... Wanna go...??? or do you have classes Friday...

Just so happens, my Friday class for this week was cancelled because my teacher is out of town for a conference. What time does the mile go till?

The runs start at 7:00 am, and will probably go all day... The best runs may be early that morning... I was thinking of leaving around 4:30 or 5:00 am from my house... Depends on if Debbie wants to go....

That's part of what I want to determine...

Pete, have you thought about approaching the guys building the formula one track and seeing if they are interested in building a two mile long stip of asphalt...or concrete... I believe there is room on the property and they could run 1/4 mile drag races most of the season and then host The Texas Mile...

I don't have the kind of contacts you do... and wouldn't know where to start... Austin has the support structure for something like this, and it could be a premier MotorSports Park...
