Any NEWS on 2015 ZL1

Can't wait to finally get some info. We are almost in April and apparently no new yet. They just might surprise everyone and update electronics or HP.

I don't think you're going to see many 2015 changes since 2016 is supposed to be the frame change year.

99.9% sure there will be absolutely NO changes. Why restyle/"reperformance" something, when in 2016 we will see the 6th Gen Camaro? Don't get too excited, you'll be disappointed.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a postponement of ZL1 at intro time similar to postponement of ZR1 with new C7 Corvette. The new Z06 is a year behind the new C7, and it is taking the place, it appears, of the ZR1 with it's 625 HP Supercharged motor (albeit with the smaller 1.7 s/c in order to fit under the redesigned hood). Waiting to see! If GM does come out with LSA powered (or variant) in the smaller frame, it would be a beast also. What do they have up their sleeves?

The only changes I foresee for model year 2015 are some new colors probably.

At this point in the gen 5's life, there is no reason to wait. This is the best this gen is gonna get. I'd say get a ZL1 now and enjoy it. I won't even be thinking about a gen 6 until about the middle of it's production so they get the new model bugs worked out. Mid to the end of the production cycle is the best time to buy IMHO. You get the best deals, and you get a product with all the kinks worked out. Only reason I can think of to buy something the first year is if your one of those "gotta be the first to have the latest and greatest" type of guys. But you'll probably pay a premium for it.

So basically, get this fantastic car now and enjoy it. You have some time until there is a Camaro variant that is on the ZL1's level.

This one is a keeper, forever for the track.

I'll find out soon enough what gm has plans for in 2015 model. They might have a special limited edition. Anyways, I strongly believe 2015 is the last year for the ZL1.

The 2016's and everything else will be downsized due to CAFE requiremets and a smaller car is not for me not going to get crushed by someone's SUV.
