looks pretty cool. im in need of a new xbox, had mine since 08 and it wont play new games. i either get sent all the way to the dashboard in the middle of a game cuz the disc is unreadable? when its perfectly fine, or like campaign modes, it plays cinematics but stops after and stays at loading screen. so i know my xbox is about to die

I really wanted this one. But I have the brand new shiny black one so I can't justify buying the same thing with different colors. Oh well. :( I preordered my xbox I wanted one so badly lol.

yeah the rings just only light up green only so if you get a red dot in the middle it is the same as the RROD now it is the RDOD

. I saw one of those SW 360 with kinnect and it is pretty sweet, LOVE that it does R2D2 sounds when you power it on/off or eject the tray from the console. If i did not have my 4 gig kinnect bundle I got on black friday with a installed 250 gig HD inside I would probably have jumped at that.

The R2 version is cool I guess.

As long as they don't develop one that's solid black with a big red lens on it. Then when you hit the eject button it says "I'm afraid I can't do that."

...no 360s. Mine is still running perfectly fine.

Positioning and proper ventilation does wonders for electronics...

Then you must have yours on a floating pedestal. Every one that I had trouble with had been sitting on its own with nothing blocking ventilation on any side of it and it gets a breeze from a window that's above my television. I never had to pack them up and move them anywhere and they were dusted and vacuumed as well.
