I'm a little confused here

Hey guys, I'm starting to look around for a Camaro, to see the price ranges and see where I may fall when looking for a new car. I am wanting a 2012+ 2SS/RS that's manual and probably has a sunroof. That's what I would prefer in a new/newer Camaro.

I found this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2012-...ht_25921wt_908

It's a 2SS, non-RS, but still has HUD and the upgraded headlights, granted it doesn't seem to have a sunroof, but I'm just confused as to what the actually differences are between the following:

1SS
1SS/RS
2SS
2SS/RS

Thanks guys!

That is an 'RS' car, they didn't list it correctly. It has the red 'SS' badges (signifying 'RS' Package). A non-RS 'SS' car would have white badges. It has the headlights, color matched shark fin, and the correct badges from what I can see.

Did they make 2SS's that came without the RS package? I never saw one in my searches, not that it mattered because I wanted the RS package.

Not sure I'd buy a car off Ebay. Try autotrader or cars.com too.

Nothing wrong with buying off eBay, especially if it is from a dealer. Do all the talking over the phone or email, get a 1 way plane ticket, drive her home!

I was considering it, but most of the good deals were snatched up. It takes a lot of resolve to just pull the bid trigger on a car you haven't seen! That's why it pays to test drive and look at all the different colors in person

Awesome, sorry, I didn't really search because I thought I had a kinda special case here haha

I didn't know that white badges meant non-RS, I think the SS badges look better than the RS badges personally.

So I for sure do want a 2SS-RS. Now time to gather the money, research and wait to graduate! woohoo!!! haha

Thank a lot guys, I appreciate it!

Thanks for the kind words!! I'm actually demoding it, most of what you see there is basically sold, I'll be keeping the rims, upper grille and tint, that's about it for aftermarket stuff haha

It's sad to pull it apart after all the work I put into it, but I'm looking for a better build car, which just so happens to be a Camaro lol

My first car did not have a sunroof my second one does...I am loving it and use it everyday...I would have to have it in my next car....just my opinion tho.
