LS3/L99 Throttle Body - $100
Hey gang, you all know we do the Vmax throttle body thing and from time to time we end up getting physically damaged throttle bodies that we cannot send to Vmax for porting.
We have to eat these and buy new ones. So from time to time, I'll sell the ones we can't use to folks for a spare or backup or whatever. I have ONE LS3/L99 piece now, works perfectly, that has a small triangle missing from the leading edge of the opening. It's no bigger than half the size of your pinky fingernail but cannot be machined. I've tested it to fit and seal with the factory or aftermarket intake and it works great. $100 shipped gets it if somebody can use it. This is being sold as is that's why it's in the Member's Classifieds and not the Vendors. Thanks! Ivan @ Southwest Speed Last edited by Ivan @ Southwest Speed; 05-09-2013 at 02:55 PM. It was a core return that somebody didn't pack up very well. Took about a 1 mm x 2 mm triangular piece out of the leading edge of the TB.
It couldn't be machined so right now it's a backup. I've actually used it a couple times in the last week to test Low Voltage TPS and other things in a customer car. Works fine and when the intake tube is installed, you'd never even know. Thanks Ivan |
