At 2500 miles, changed shifter to MGW but still have grind. From my grandfather, to my dad, and now to me, my family has always been Chevy people. Dealer has not called me back despite leaving messages. If GM doesn't fix this to my satisfaction I will trade it in for a Ford Mustang or Dodge Challenger - two cars I have driven which does not have a transmission grind.
I would like them to put a 0-60 mph timer and 1/4 mile timer in it like the mustang THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!

Lower the belt line so I can rest my arm on top of the door.

About 40 more hp in the SS models and about 200 pounds less curb weight. Either or...probably lean towards more power since its likely more obtainable with the current platform and LS engines.

Dont put options on the car like launch control, and have toothpick axles back there that cant handle the stock power of a car THEY built. They need to take a step back and build the drivetrains like they did in the 60s. 12 bolt rear ends that take years and years of abuse with no problems. Breaking an axle shouldnt even cross your mind until you are running ridiculous amounts of power. JMO.

Paint
AFM on the L99's
Exhaust rattle
Paint
Brakes
Climate Control
Big A** ugly bowtie on grill and trunk. Put SS badges in place
AFM yes I said that but it is annoying and not many exhaust options.
40-50 more HP: My wifes X5 could probably beat this thing in 1/4 mile

Sorry to say but not much I do like about this car. Wanted the back seat that my Vette did not have and somthing different but totaly underwhelmed by the SS.

Oh yeah and the black paint is terrible but everyone knows that and I listed that twice!

Will trade for an 86 Buick WH1 or an 89 TTA. Both of which stock are quicker than the SS I think.

Brake noise, crisper stereo, a way to plug in a flash drive and not have it index every time, lower stock ride height, tougher sounding stock exhaust, get rid of ugly gold bowties, front license plate bracket not drilled into front bumper. I too have the 1st to 2nd grinding sometimes.

I was a bit surprised when it didn't have it, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. My previous car was a Charger SRT-8, and it also had the timers, a g meter, and brake distance computer.

Unbelievable that GM pioneered hardtops in 1949, but if you want one now, you have to buy a Mercedes.
