+1 for headers being a gateway drug...and if you do that for the love of god don't go to a drag strip or its over...lol. I also am always looking for more now..anything for quicker track times.

I went with the TSP 1 7/8 and love them. They were not very expensive, took me and a buddy 30 minutes to install on Jack stands in my garage. The one downside to the TSP headers is they give you rinky dink 1" ish band clamps for the connection pipes which didn't seat well and had a slight leak.. but $20 and a trip to your local truck and trailer store you can get the 3" wide bands that stretch and form and its perfect.

Tune is a must in my opinion.. who you get is up to you whether its a dyno tune or mail order or a JRE custom tune. I have the latter and Ted does amazing work. His tunes are by far not a mail order but a custom flash.

My .02

You will love the headers no matter what brand you go with as they all fit perfectly except for some of the overseas headers. Your warranty will be VOIDED once you install LT'S on the car so make sure you are ready for that.

I purchased the JBA 1 7/8" Stainless and Ceramic Coated Long tubes and mids for under 1K and it was the best mod so far for the car. The underhood temps are so much lower than factory manifolds and I picked up 40rwhp with a tune over factory. Make sure you get ceramic coated as it's worth EVERY penny.

I have never regretted my ARH coated headers or my Jannetty tune. Ten thousand happy miles later I still love them both.
