Mike at Norris Motorsports of Indianapolis is hosting a Dyno Day.

Cost: $45.00 for two pulls on the Dyno
When: Saturday, October 30, 2010
Time: 8 am to 2 pm (or whenever the last car finishes)
Where: Norris Motorsports (Near Home Depot at 96th and I-69)
Who: Any car, any make, any model, any year

Here is your chance to dyno your ride for a great price at a local shop. Come and check out some great cars as well.

Mike will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and sodas.

I haven't done any performance mods yet so there is no real reason (other than just to hang out) to do this is there? I have never had one done before, so sorry if this is a dumb question.

Yes there is. It's nice to have a baseline of your horsepower before you start adding stuff. I missed a great opportunity earlier this year, and not passing this up again.

So, yes, put me on the list!

and yes, before you asked, this was approved by the Boss!

Thanks for the comment! I typically work until noon on Saturdays but could possibly be there by 1:30 or 2 if its OK to show up late. If so, put me down as tentative.

Hey All,

A big thanks to OSC for posting this up and it should be a good day for all. As mentioned, I can supply bugers and dogs if someone can bring a BBQ by.

As hrpiii mentioned, getting a good baseline before doing mods is a great idea to see what you are actually getting as you progress forward through your modding process.

Depending on how many cars want to dyno, I may or may not be able to tune that day. If I can it would be after the last car to run across the dyno. Once the date gets closer and we have a decent idea on how many cars will be here, I can answer that question better.

Looking forward to it folks and keep the questions and comments coming for sure.
