Don't do it unless it's functional.

Mentioned this awhile back and a few laughed me out of town. LOL
Imho a Smallblock converted to FuelInjection with a Bugcatcher Airscoop may be doable. Heck anythings doable if you have the $$. There is a newer Gen Mustang floating around out there with an Oldschool 871 Blower setup:

Shop that's doing my Supercharger Install this week does some killer FI conversions and custom fabrication (and also a sponsor on here.) May not be able to see out the front of the car afterwards though.

FuelInjectionConversion.

I'm not an expert or anything but Ram-Air hoods don't do anything significant until high speeds of like 300 KM/H+ because the air is no longer mixed with the fuel at the point of the air being sucked in (a carburetor setup) . At least that is how I have been led to believe it. Due to the fact that the engine is set for a certain fuel air mixture the horsepower gains would not be significant until there is enough pressurized air being forced into the engine and at normal speeds that wouldn't happen. I mean you are still forcing air into the intake but not enough for it to be worth anything but looks.

Also do what you want but I drive a Camaro and a 350Z I don't need another one of the cars I drive looking as ridiculous as this.

Also if you like retro-muscle cars then go buy a 1967-81 Camaro, Mustang or whatever Muscle Car because this car is retro in the sense that a remake of a 1970's movie is retro.

I had the Mr. Gasket Street Scoop on my Dual Quad setup on the 71 Camaro, but the damn cops kept stopping me, so I put the 6 inch cowl on and took off the scoop.

Tunnel Ram too?
Haters can Hate but maybe it's time to bring ProStreet back. It sure was alot of fun back in the early/mid 80's. People are putting 9" Rears in the 5th Gen Time to narrow them. Wheelie Bars and Chutes to top it off. LOL

Man, if you feel you have to do it , go for it. Bottom line its your car and you worked for it. This is the nice thing of custom work. It's going to be unique and some will like it , others will not like it , and some will always hate no matter what you do to your car.

it should be possible, there's a couple intake manifolds out there were you can convert it to top fed air just like old carb days... like the Holley hi ram which takes some cutting but topped with a couple 4 barrel style throttle bodies should work
or a smaller would be the victor jr

just some ideas

in fact i wonder if i can fit a victor jr with a fast 4 barrel TB and air cleaner under the hood hmmmm time to measure
