Front spoiler??

I'd like a front spoiler for my car, is there a difference between a splitter and a spoiler?? Which kind do you guys recommend? Post pics if possible

I'm not sure if there is a difference or just the name it is referenced by. Here is the SLP splitter I just recently did.

Here is the link to my thread I started with some additional pics.

Spoilers go on the trunk lid. Splitters go under the front bumper. (Or so it seems, some companies call the front ones spoilers)

Spoilers on the rear, air dams go on the front to keep air from under the car, splitters work with airdams to redirect air caught by the airdam to go around the car as well as keeping some air from going under the car.
