97 Anniversary Cut off/ no start - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm driving along in my 97 LT1 Z28 & I turn into the next lane then all of a sudden I hear a pop pop pop like my car is missing or possibly running out of gas. I pull into a parking lot & try to start my car up but all I'm getting is that same pop. (starter is turning over) Well with no luck starting I make sure every wire is tight, I have gas in the tank & I think possibly it could be my distributor. Change the distributor, still no luck. Fuel pump sounds like its running. Plugs, wires are good. What else could be the problem? The starter is turning over but no luck otherwise. Maybe a ignition coil or crank sensor?
