I agree that it's good to express views, but I see both sides of the argument. For example, I see the 1LE as a substantial option for the SS and am biased against 1LE badging.
I'm in the painted lettering camp, but still not to sure about doing it. It's a toss up, but starting to trend here in LA. Are those a special set of F1's or are the letters an overlay? I think those letters are awesome! It gives the car and tires a racecar/nascar look. Yellow is not my fav color but I like what you did. And let's keep this forum friendly shall we.
