Went to GLD last night, not many cars out and the track was not as good as when I went the 11.13. Times below are with trunk gutted, no passenger seat. M&H 275/50R17 DRs between 19 and 22. Last 3 passes had my buddy Philip Portanova drive it, he's 140 to my 225. Was down to 45F last night, DA was 500 when I checked at 8PM, probably got better.

Thanks to Timmy Two-Stage Williams for the track tuning, brotha I could not have improved from 11.39 to 11.13 with you being there.

Do I like the M&Hs? We think they are not as good the M/Ts. Some thought they were comparable to the Nittos. I would say they are a little better than the Nittos. But the track was not good like last time.

I'm thinking to pull the front sway bar and run again next week. I can pull the back seat too.

11.34@119.4 1.57 - Tried not locking the TC, didn't like it, spun
11.48@122.3 1.78 - TC locked again, I rolled into the gas too slow
11.30@122.6 1.65 - Rolled in soft but not as bad
11.30@122.9 1.67 - Little spin
11.16@122.9 1.55 - Wee bit of spin
11.18@123.0 1.59 - Some spin
11.28@123.8 1.69 - Lots of spin
11.17@123.6 1.63 - Little spin
11.32@123.7 1.75 - Spun bad

2 bad that M/T don't make a 29" tall 17" rim sticky,about the same specs as the M&H 325/45/17.
I have the 295/45/17 M/T and IMO,they are not tall enough (27.2)

Has to be due to bad track prep. I hook very well on my M&H tires. Been cutting 1.52 and 1.51 60ft last few weeks. PSJ, run some slicks man. I can't wait to see how it does when you dead hook. Just hope you don't break anything.

Well I got that Eaton in there, and I put 9 passes on it the other day.

I am going to bring my slicks next time. My buddy in a C6 cut 1.43 with his yesterday.

Mine:

I noticed a nice difference with weight transfer and front end rise after pulling the front swaybar. Haven't made it back to the track yet though.

On the street under normal driving it handles rough roads better and still cruises well above the speed limit on expressways like its on rails (I've got BMR lowering springs though). Leans more at low speed turns though.

Pulled the sway bar, haven't had a chance to drive it yet..

I'm SERIOUS about a 10.99 this year.

John, apparently you and Brandon have a serious race going on to be the first into the 10s. His 11.005 almost had him bursting through that barrier. It's a pity you guys can't be at the same track at the same time. It would be very interesting.

Brandon is a great friend and we share ideas with each other. I was rootin' for him to run 10.99 yesterday, he was soo close!!!

If the next Camaro5 event is central I will try to go, he went to the last one.
