Stock diff limits
Besides the typical broken axles and 2 piece driveshafts that are typical to break.... How many issues do you guys see with the differential itself? Specifically stick cars leaving at high RPM....
The car has 3.45s and I want to out the 3.91s in it. But I'm almost scared to put money in the diff if I'm better off just doing a ZL1 diff |

It's all in power and traction.

The stock posi is the weak point in the stock diff. Adding a trutrac and gears starts putting the cost closer to a zl1 kit once you add axles and driveshaft.

depends on your tires. Sticky tires and the stock power is enough to snap one. I'm at 675 to the tires on street tires and its been holding up well so far.

I'm dynoing the car Sunday. But it should make roughly 480-490 to the wheels.
I also launch at 6k on a full slick Hoosier. Mainly because of the gearing in the car I'm trying to get off the line |

Just put the car on the dyno yesterday. On a 85° day it put down 469hp 430tq. So I was fairly close with my guess

Totally depends on whether it's a A6 or M6.
