Throttle body

Just wondering if you guys have ported throttle bodies and is it worth it,is it just to get more air flow?
When replaced I guess it will self train to suit the change.

I think you'll find guys love the throttle response they get from the Vmax CnC ported throttle body. Its our best seller and a great bang for the buck.

Tip in is much more crisper and the unit requires no tuning. Its just a fun plug and play part.

Yes we have them in stock and sell them for $150 plus a $200 core charge which is refunded when I receive your stock OEM throttle body.

Phil

I have yet to see anyone disappointed with their purchase of a ported throttle body.

Blur is right! I am completely satisfied, and I have no complaints whatsoever. Great bang for buck, plus got mine painted. Looks really good in the engine bay. Contemplating on mating Vararam's Power Wedge with it to see if I get any further results.

You have to keep in mind that the ported throttle body is just one piece of your intake system. The entire system needs to be upgraded for the full potential of any of it's pieces to be realized. That being said, as a stand alone upgrade on an SS you are mostly going to notice increased throttle response. A more direct and connected feel.

They run $150 plus a $200 core charge. Being in NZ you probably you probably would not be returning your stock throttle body so we could work something out on a straight purchase.

Yeah, like Chase said, you need to upgrade your intake system. I can imagine by doing only the ported Tb I wouldn't have noticed as much of an increase in anything. But paired with the Rotofab cai I got from Chase and his group, noticeable and fun improvements.

Thanks,it is an option send core back. If I arrange things well enough I could do something in nov,off to sema hopefully.
I have a CAI already but do notice lag, thought it was the fly by wire being lazy.
No upgraded intake manifolds?
