Okay let's talk payments
For those that don't mind disclosing the numbers what are you guys payments working out to be on the 2SS/RS (figuring roughly around 40,000 out the door with TTL).....
wondering if most are doing 72 month financing or 84 or 60 for that matter and what are people getting for interest rates nowadays... I just want a few examples from multiple people out there on what to expect. My wife's car is scheduled to deliver on 7 September (WOOOOHOOOO) to the dealership and i'm getting stuff in place to deal with the payments... We both have very good credit (above 700 FICO scores for both) so we should qualify for some of the better interest rates....

I personally can get 5.2% no matter how many number of months I go with. but if you want the amount of the payments, I would need more info to tell you. IF by chance you have Microsoft OFFICE, or just Excel. there is a amorization schedule in there and you just put in the amounts of how much you want the loan for, the interest rate, and how long the loan is for in months adn it calculates it all.

The car is going to be 36895 MSRP as it's optioned out. I've already put in a 500 dollar deposit on it and will most likely bring another 500 with me. So that takes it to about 35895 before TTL. I figure TTL will be all of 4000 bucks... So i'll end up financing 40K.. I'm expecting with my and the wifes credit scores we're looking at about a 600-625/mo payment for 72 months and if we go 84 probably like 570-580....

I belong to 2 credit unions, one is at 4.99% for 60 months, the other is at 4.75% for 60 months. I had configured two cars before actually ordering. The 2SS i had configured was about $37,000, and the monthly payment was about $450 ($15,000 down payment). But anyway, i ended up ordering a 2LT/RS.

5% interest on any length loan up to 76 months
I'm getting 5% interest on my loan thru First Class American Credit Union. It's the postal credit union & anyone can join as long as they live or work within 10 miles of the credit union office.
Check http//www.fcacu.org for locations in your area. Good luck.

Don't the rate depend on your credit rating as well? I know a buddy of mine has a car lot and they have to know what their credit rating is before they can give them a rate.
