curious about my thread being locked

any ideas as to why? being it was only to be funny asking if anyone visited the site while driving. obviously we were not promoting doing so but poking fun of some of the topics.
are we that stuffy around here?

My immediate response would be that we aren't "stuffy," but we do have the younger folks reading topics, and we don't want to give them (or older young folks) any bad ideas. We do have the internet on our phones, so it's not that far-fetched. Sorry.

I had a friend killed while trying to eat on the road. Multitasking = no good.

This isn't directed to you personally....

But if that is really the reason, I will have to say it's quite ridiculous.

Oh heaven forbid someone make a silly/sarcastic comment about something and "put bad ideas into someone's head". It's just like people who blame video games & TV for their kids doing dumb crap. How about teaching your kid to not be stupid? I also don't think minors should be allowed on boards like this, not saying this board is bad in any way, it's very tame around here & very informative. But no telling what happens behind the scenes. Parent's (not all) just don't pay attention to what their kids are up to anymore. My 17 yr old step-nephew is a prime example of a kid gone wrong. Today's society sucks, which is why I haven't procreated.

Sorry. /End Rant

So in essence, you haven't procreated because everyone else is so f'd up? I agree 100% about people being held accountable for their own actions. Tomorrow's society won't be any better, just watch Idiocracy.

It has nothing to do with stuffiness. I just do not want others to get an idea to do so while driving. Nothing personal.

To answer your question: Yes, pretty much. Not saying that I never will have kids, I want kids... err ok, maybe just 1 kid... maybe. It just scares me to death to think of all the little morons my not-yet-existing child will be surrounded by.

That movie scares the sh*t out of me, due to that fact that we're not too far off from it right now LOL
