I remember I did a thread on IAT mod(not the same as scrming relocation mod). This is exactly that, a resistor mod. Same as the SLP air chiller, and the aftermarket maf for our v6 camaro by a very well known company(sorry can't remember the name). Don't waste you money and instead you can try this for couple dollars. search for IAT mod and you will see a thread I started. Same exact thing.

I am very interested in some real life dependable info on this as I see most posts are very understandably skeptical. I seen the ad ona youtube video so I checked it out and the red flags waved, I asked a pro that hosts a hot rod show and he said sounds like bs do your homework. I wont be ordering this up anytime soon, who wants to roll the dice with a 45 grand car? But playing devils advocate I believe the ad said "up to" 60 hp which means it can add 1 hp and they wouldnt be lieing but they did give numbers for mileage gains I believe it was 4-7 mpg which is huge and a specific decrease in emissions. So as the Red Flags fly my wallet stays colsed, and my car stays running and fast at that :-)

I put one of these rip offs on my last car, and let me tell you, the hummer did not hum at all until I pulled that crap off and reset the ecm. Lets let this thread die...
