Hopefully it's not named something annoyingly long, like High Performance Edition or anything absurd. Z-28 is much simpler and allows people people to relate their future car to a name they revered as kids. The American muscle car enthusiast likes simple things a majority of the time; high displacement, high horsepower, torque on demand, and a car they can mod if they choose. It sounds like a long list but it really isn't if you're talking about a 50K+ pricepoint. That's why the vette is so well respected...even on the import scene. JMVHO

I think Scott might be toying with us
But if they do name it differently, I trust they will choose the name wisely.

I'm also wondering about the tires (330s and 285s). I may have missed this in another thread, but are they going to widen the car? I have 315s on the back, and anything wider would stick out.

I was wondering the same, but if you look at the tires on the Z28 Prototype they look massive. Check out the second pic down.

If it's not called the z/28, I am expecting the Z/28 to come out as a different car....

could the 330 tire fit if they changed the offset of the rear wheel? Also does anyone know if they make a 330 snow tire?

For the price of a 330 snow tire, if they even exist, you could buy a winter beater. I'd guess those things would be crazy expensive.
