May have to sell my car... what should I ask?
Due to a legal situation I may have to sell my Camaro. I have a v6 45th anniversary edition with 11,000 miles on it. Fully loaded, with moonroof. Also I have installed a v8 front and heritage grill, also the windows are tinted and blacked out the wheels. Just ordered hash tags too. What do you think I should be asking and is anyone interested?
thanks |

If it's "like new" condition, I would think you might be able to get $26K-$27K... just because it's a 45th. Although, even though it is relatively "rare", the non-original front end may actually detract from the value. Do you still have the original front end? If so, and you sell that with it, my estimate stands. Good luck - sorry about your troubles.

I paid $24k for my CPO 2012 2LT (15k miles) with sun roof and tinted windows at a local Chevy dealership.

If your selling to a private buyer, you'll get more for your changes to the car. Not much though, because you changed the car to your taste, and unless you find someone that wants exactly what you did, you don't typically get your money back for upgrades. As far as what they are selling for at the dealership, that doesn't apply to private buyers. They always low ball with trade allowances so they an make a profit off of you. Good luck with what ever you do.
