Best afterburned-style tail lights
I've read good things about AAC. Any others? Also, I'm hoping to find some that are plug & play. I don't want to mess around with taking mine apart.

Haven't seen any bad threads yet, but I didn't look that hard. The actually install looks tricky. Are there other issues?

In summary, stay away from aac. Their afterburners consistently fail and they make u take everything apart and take forever to fix

Thanks for the info
Are there any out there that are worth it and don't break, or should I just leave well enough alone?

You can do it yourself or ACC might have them prebuilt at this time so you send them your stock tails and get the afterburners back!
Call ACC see if they have any ready to go because then you get the lights with the after burners installed and your stock ones are the core!

Don't buy from Automotive Halo Kits llc, mine only lasted 5weeks and I rarely drive the car. I may have drove the car a total of 5 times since installing them. Had 2 sections burn out and they want me to pay to return them and then wait for replacements.

Sounds like I will just stick with the stock lights. I'm just trying to think of some easy cosmetic mods since I'm pretty much done with performance stuff (for now, lol).

There is a diy thread for making your own. I followed it and it cost me less than $30 total.
