1st modifications and lingenfelter

Does anyone have any experience in taking your ZL1 to Lingenfelter for modifications? My 2012 is bone stock as of now and I'm looking to upgrade to the stage 1 kit they offer. Not sure whether it's worth the money for them to do the mods or just buy the parts and do it myself.

I went to them twice. First for heads, cam and Heartbeat SC. The 2nd was for an LS7 427. Workmanship is among the best but customer service was lacking. Word of warning, if you want it done, for example, April 1st, tell them you want it by March 1st!!!!!! Yours is an easy upgrade so probably no issues there, but just saying. Whatever they do you will love it!!!!! Worth every penny extra just to get their tuning, it's perfect!!!

Thanks for the info! I was just going to put a roto fab intake on and be done with it but i wanted it tuned anyway so I think I'm leaning towards letting them put that 630hp kit on it.

Their one of the best. I would have no worries going to their shop.

Rotofab or CAI is a must mod.

The Rotofab plus big gulp mod work great on my car. But I track my car so not sure on the "just a DD" gains.....

I run there motors in my boat and will be sending my car there as soon as the warranty is off. They do great work but it will take longer than they say it will. Worth the wait.

How are the gains of the big gulp different on the track than on regular roads???

I have wondered about the Big Gulp but I just can't see where it would help much. No doubt it is forcing fresh air into the filter area but no more than it is supplying I do not think there is much or any advantage to it.
