I was able to get mine all hooked up without a harness and without cutting the factory wiring.
I made my own plug out of some salvage PC parts.

can you post the link to the DIY in moderncamaro? I did a search but the search there is as bad as this one, unless you know the exact thread tittle it pulls up the 100's of build threads with 5000 posts
