Riiiiight, and I'm supposed to believe there aren't other "glitches" on his timeslip? Regardless, it's one person in a supposedly stock car running 12.5's. Great car, great driver, great conditions = great times. Unfortunately this isn't always the case, which is why most run ~ 12.9.

What is stock? To me that means the way the factory made it. Even down to the tire pressure. Some claim their car as stock even after weight reduction, tire pressure changes out of stock range, supercharger pulley swap when the pulley is from same mfg, & so on.
Here's my times from my 100% stock cars all ran at the same crappy track. 2010 Challenger SRT8(6.1L) Auto - 12.87 best, 13.0-13.1 the norm 2010 Mustang GT Auto - 13.47 best, 13.5s the norm 2012 Camaro SS/RS Auto - 13.52 best, 13.5-13.6 the norm I've driven & raced the 392 at Daytona Speedway & it felt a lot faster than mine.

To me stock is ZERO mods right from the factory no weight savings. Pretty much like it was when it left the showroom. I have messed with tire pressures and found it doesn't really do any good with the Eagle F1's. I keep them at 32 pounds on my Super Bee and have been getting 1.9 60 fts like that. 1.8 60 fts are possible on the stock F1's but my Super Bee is no where near broke in yet. Still only 800 miles on it. I did find on the Eagle RSA tires that they will hook a tad bit better at 28 pounds. That's what I ran my tires at on the 392 Challenger I had. Those tires suck even worse than the F1's.

I don't think anyone here is bashing the camaro, but the 392 is a low 12 second car and it happens more often than not as long as the driver knows what they are doing. Here is my buddy's 392. He ran a 12.2 completely stock out of the dealership. I let him borrow my drag radials, front skinnies and we added a tune. Car went 11.92 with ease....and yes that is a C6 with bolt ons and drag radials getting walked:
