I want make my camaro sound mean

as the title states, I just wanna make my camaro sound mean and hard either am pushin on the gas paddle or holdin my breaks down on a traffic light, i checked on youtube video clips, and i summed it up to borla, corsa, and magnaflow...any suggestions? doesn't have to be from what i summed up, just general. yea i heard the stock and that sounds nice but something extra is what am looking for.

Thanks for any future replies.

If you really want to be heard then add a cam to your list.

Long tube headers, high flow cats, and a catback exhaust of your chosing will give your car the sound you want (aggressive and mean sounding). And the combination will add 30hp (on average).

Long tube headers and high flow cats makes even the stock mufflers sound loud and aggressive.

I would say ARH long tubes, and pipes with some small bullet style mufflers...That si what I had for awhile and it sounded like an old school big block!!!

I have switched to a more quiet setup, but I still have the old one also!!! I think the way I described it would definitely be what you are lookign for.

Go with long tubes and straight pipes if you want loud and annoying.

Sorry for the thread hijack.

What's your more quiet setup? I'm thinking about getting long tubes, but I don't want it TOO loud.
I was thinking the 2.5'' Magnaflow street catback with long tubes and high flow cats.

I want the HP, without the cops hearing me coming from miles away.

Thumbs up

You want loud?!? Here ya go; STAINLESS WORKS long tube headers, STAINLESS WORKS exhaust pipes and muffler delete. If you look at the price and shy away, remember you get what you pay for. Not always, but most of the time. Check out Tag's car, He's got the Stainless Works set up and it sounds killer. Do a search on youtube for STAINLESS WORKS! You won't be disappointed.
Adding a cam will give you the lope!! Which make the car sound mean and like an "old school" muscle car at idle.

Dude... check out stainless works exhaust. It's like... crazy loud. Their aggressive sounding cat back has some kinda s-core turbo muffler, thats very loud. People that i've talk to on camaro5 say it was too loud for them. Do a search on youtube for 2010 camaro stainless works and watch Tag ur it car. F**kin loud. I'm debating between full Kooks exhaust or Stainless Works.

I was wondering about this set-up too..We need a clip of it.I have heard
the mufflers alone are rather quite, but with headers I bet it's perfect.

I would like to hear ZZ's reply to this also.
