NA power capable of 10's without gutting the Camaro
I have a 2012 Camaro SS ls3, with the current mods New Era OTR itake, LG 1 7/8 headers into a LG full 3" exhaust(no cats), TSW Nurburging 20" with NT555r tires on the back. I have not got it tuned yet or put on the dyno. The vehicle goes in the shop in a few weeks to get a TSP 235/239 .641 .615 cam, TSP aftermarket 255cc heads milled to unknown specs(shop still looking this over),fast 102mm w/NW 102mm TB, ATI balancer 10% underdrive, Dynotech 1 piece driveshaft (from GeForce), DSS half shafts, and Subframe/differential bushings. I will also be adding 3.91 gears.
With these mods do you guys think I'll be able to put it near or in the 10's. The idea was to stay N/A and get into the 10's then play with the spray a bit. Give me a heads up if you see anything missing or know of better items to help me. Thanks in advance. |

u should be fairly close to 10's just throw out the stuff in the trunk and all that stuff. it would take a pretty aggressive tune. and alot of dail in work. but it can be done.

I originally planned on the LG g6x3 cam, but saw this one and wanted to experiment a little with something different. Should be close to the numbers the G6x3 put down. Yes wheels will be a factor will be a few months before funds are sufficent for purchasing different rims. Any patricular rims you guys suggest and size?

there are lightweight 18's that can fit if you want to keep stock setup. |

How fast have you gone so far?
I think low 11's will take some practice. So I'll say eventually.

You may benefit from a different CAI. Pick up a set of 18" vette GS wheels for the rear, they are cheap, and will drop a bunch of rotating mass off the rear.

I have not been to the track with this car yet. I have had a few runs with my previous vette, but two completely different beast. What's the issue with the intake? GS wheels I will look into thanks for the help.

Nothing is wrong with the New Era Intake as far as I am concerned! It works great for me!
