We drove a 2SS/RS 6M. We drove 8900 miles round trip. So i might be alittle bias asking to move it abit west. Like i was telling people down there i can get to Skagway Alaska quicker than the Montana border.Vegas or Phoenix would be nice then it would only 3 days drive one way. Topeka would even be more fair for the west coasters. The thing that would be nice is to have it around the middle of May so the mountian passes would have a smaller chance of snow. We hit snow from southern Montana Idaho Utah and northern Nevada. About 300 miles worth. So when i see people say i won't drive more than 300 or 400 miles to C5F i wonder where the passion is . Live alittle. I'll tell these cars look good but they are still ment to be driven. I know i won't be able to get 3 weeks off next year for the trip but said iwasn't going to miss the first one. Central for C5F two then west for three and east for four would be great and fair.

Vegas is doable its a two day drive. East coast would be a 5 day drive each way.

I agree that Las Vegas or Phoenix would be good choices. I have driven to the East Coast twice for the MTI Funfest in Alabama last year, and the C5Fest in Georgia this year. I live in west Texas and the East Coast is a very long drive, for everyone on the West Coast. It would only be right to allow the West Coasters the opportunity to have fun as well.

This is just my Opinion.

I also agree... I think its funny that the east coasters dont want to make the week long drive to Vegas... when its ok for the california guys to make the week long trip to Georgia

I'm all for a central location, but how can you beat Vegas?

I post this to remind everyone why it probably won't be in Vegas... Now, Firebird is another story.

You are never going to make everyone happy. But it should come down to what is the most fair. Anyway you look at it is going to be a tough call. It is going to be hard on the people making the decision. Then they have to do the organizing all while listening to half the people b1&%h about it not where they want it. So where ever it is we will just have to live with it and try to make it. It was worth the trip the last time and will be worth it the next time.
