An ADM L99-LS3 Conversion
Took my car back to ADM for some additional work (they previously had done my headers/intake/exhaust). The list of additions is below:
Ligenfelter GT-11 Cam Ported heads micro polished 3.45 gears ZL1 fuel pump Basically all the prep work for an eventual blower was done. They once again did an awesome job! The attention to detail is wonderful even if you aren't doing one of their mega builds. The conversion was definitely worth it! Last edited by rjsmith1973; 02-11-2012 at 06:36 PM. Very very nice. I did 424 with my GT-9, shorties, CAI and stock manifold/heads.
Which blower? Padre |

..question of the week it seems..
It appears you went without a converter... how do you feel it handles without?

It is prudent to have a goal in sight. The mods you are doing all aimed toward the blower. I would be surprised that Andy has already pined your crank in preperation for the blower install. One less task to perform later. Great numbers too. How do you like the rear gear change?

The GT-11 cam doesn't seem to need a converter based on how my car is behaving. Idle is about 250 or so rpm higher than before. Streetability is great with no surging.
The 3.45s give a nice kick and 1st gear is still usable. It really rips. I'm leaning towards the 1900 as far as blowers go. From researching seems to be a very efficient match for our engines. |

90rwhp from a mild cam and ported heads. Congrats bro. I myself will be getting that cam and conversion done at ADM. Also doing new TSP/PRC aftermarket heads and a Yank 2800. Just wish the heads would be done already so I can get this thing going.

The GT11 cam may be mild in duration but it's HIGH in lift! Makes an awesome broad powerband, excellent street manners, and is stealthy. I wonder why no one has imitated it or tried to use the high lift with some more duration. I imagine with a blower you would want to use comp 926's or some other stout double spring set-up (I remember they would spec 921's N.A.).... if I'm remebering numbers correctly

I have the GT-11 cam in two of my vehicles, my DD Trailblazer SS and my 2010 Camaro. I liked it so much in the TBSS that I had to have it in my Camaro. Both cars are using Patriot Gold springs with no problems.
