The bottom line is that you should enjoy this era of performance. We can buy 600 hp cars with WARRANTY!!!

Try that 15 years ago.

These are the golden days right here.

I agree with all above, but do we need to keep comparing the same two cars every other month?

If one of them had some type of performance upgrade then I could see hashing it out again. It would seem to me that this is showing that there isn't really anything to talk about in the car world right now, and they need filler material until the next big thing hits.

Not even 15 but 5 years ago. We are definitly watching history unfold. All of the big three are producing great cars. I am a little bias about Chevrolet!

Enjoy this special time. IMO it will not last. The GM lsa's will be trendsetters for all of the domestic performance models to follow.

Well I have an older edition of Car and Driver where the ZL1 Vert was chosen against the M6 vert ... but that also concentrated heavily on price

It also took into account curbside appeal which the Camaro has in spades over any BMW.

If this was 1987 I bet all you guys would be ripping the GN/GNX since it didn't handle like a Corvette...

The current batch of Camaro guys sound like the Mustang guys from 98-02 when the LS1 was killing the 4.6...

Bottom line is this is the best time to be a car guy....
