You do have to sink the music connect service each time you get in your car to stream music via bluetooth though. Once you sink the first time , the gmconnect phone service on your iphone you should never have to do it again. I have streamed music to my car from 25 feet away before
how do you stream line your music? An AT&T rep dint even know how!

hit aux. then menu, then music device, GMusic will show up on phone. Connect from there and your good. Just to let you know that streaming like this DOES charge to you data connection with AT&T. So if you don't have the unlimited data plan it could get expensive.
Sound quality is better thru the USB connection and it does charge but with the location of the plug it makes it a little bit of a pain in the ass...

That's not completely true. Streaming audio from the iPhone to the car's radio does NOT require data usage. The cellular data connection would only be used if you were streaming from an internet source like Pandora. You can play content stored on the phone itself without any data usage.

iPhone 4 dock

I have a base model 2010 camaro LT. It does not have a USB port. Does anybody know where I can buy an iPhone 4 dock so I can play music from the phone and use the cobra radar detector on my car. I've heard of docks being available and in a lot of camaros. I just need help on how and where to get one. Thank you very much.

Finally got around to connecting my Iphone 3GS to the USB. The Phone connects to the radio and it seems to be charging. After a minute or two message comes up "Charging is not supported with this accessory"
It seems the the phone stops charging ????
I thought the USB port supported charging ?

It seems the issue I have is the aftermarket 6ft cord. When hooked to a power jack it charges the iPhone. When hooked to the USB port it doesn't charge the iPhone. I replaced the 6ft cable with my apple certified 3 foot cable, plugged into the USB port and the iPhone now charges. The 6ft cable was suppose to be a sync/charge cable ?
