Wet Sanding Help and Advise
I need help, I have never wet sanded anything before, I have read some tutorials, but I still have some questions.
I wet sanded primer and there was different shades of gray after I finished, will I have the same change of color if I wet sand the base color? I have 3M rubbing compound can I use this on the base color after I wet sand, or is it just for use on the clear coat? If there is advise you can give in addition to these questions I am all ears. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Before you do anything, consult the oracle. Talk to the Junkman in the cosmetic section. He's got youtube vids on wet sanding but, he may be able to guide you on fixing your issue without having to go that drastic route.

Message Junkman, however I doubt a wet sanding is required. That is always a LAST resort.
