Brembo brakes

Idk if it's just me, but my Brembo brakes put off ALOT of brake dust. And that's honestly one thing I can't stand. Is there a different type of Brembo brake pad I could get? Or just a different brand with the same quality that does not produce as much dust?

Brake dust is insane sticks all over the sides and rear fender. It stops like crazy when you heat them up. Love them especielly pedal feel, hate dust.

Check out Hawk Ceramic brake pads. They perform about the same as stock but are a very low dust pad.

I noticed that also. Switched to Hawk ceramic pad along with Baer Decelarotors rotors and both reduced the dust by around 75%.

I agree, it only takes a week for my rims to be nearly black.

I will get hawk ceramic pads as soon as I get some wear on these, cant justify throwing pads with 15k miles on them in the trash yet haha.

I had hawk ceramics on my 4th gen for years with chrome rims and barely had dust after 3 weeks without a wash

I got Hawk HPS and there is hardly any dust but they DO NOT stop the car nearly as well as stock pads. If you get Hawk HPS and you need to stop fast they will scare the shit out of you. I won't be getting them again.

Oh yeah they sound like a dump truck screeching to a halt. And they were burnished correctly.

I'm switching to some Carbotech street pads next weekend. I have their X10s on front and X8 on rear because I just took the car to the track and they worked great. But I don't recommend them for any street use because they really aren't meant for slow braking. Once I get the street pads on I'll let you know how they feel and if they are any better on the brake dust.
