Halltech Yellow Jacket CAI on an L99
Anybody have this CAI to an L99. Talked to Jim at Halltech and he had not tried to fit one on an L99 only on LS3's. Any reason it wouldn't work like different intake manifold opening size? It's gonna be this or the Cold Air Induction unit which will certainly fit.
Thanks, Pat |

No, it is identical. It will bolt right up. I am surprised he couldn't answer that question.

I have the Yellowjacket on my L99 as well and it fits and performs very well!! I noticed a big difference in the sound and performance of the car when I first put it on. Haven't had any issues and I have had it on the car for almost a year now.

Plug and play.I painted mine to match the car if you are not into the dull black plastic look.It works great. Nice thing is Jim tuned it so it really doesnt mess with the as is stock A/F ratio. Keeps it close so the computer isnt over compensating rich or lean.

You have to make sure you get the heat shield in the right place. It has some notches in the bottom that fit over the SS hard lines down there.
