Brake cap
Is it time for a new brake fluid cap because I keep finding spilled fluid on the side.

Seems to be a common issue. I have a 2015 and after 5 years they still hadn't figured out how to fix it. I tried cutting a piece of rubber in a donut-shape and sticking it under the seal, and despite being much harder to push on and twist is still leaks. The paint below the reservoir is all lifted and damaged due to the brake fluid. Wonder if there are any aftermarket caps out there?
Edit: just found a video on YouTube and apparently the reservoir itself leaks, around the seam (although I still notice some fluid around the neck/cap). Maybe I'll try some silicone around the seam. The video also mentioned that there is a TSB (technical service bulletin) to replace the reservoir and cap, so that'll be my plan B.

Some have used a Dorman gasket. Others have used the milk jug method.

Common problem. New cap seems to solve it for most.
