First Detail of Spring with Adams Patriot

Well this is the by far the best job I have done as a novice detailer. I believe that the prep work prior to using the Patriot was the reason for the dramatic results.

No pics of the prep work sorry but I did strip wash with a dawn/apc cocktail in my foam gun and my wash bucket.. twice once prior to claying the car once after just for fun. I felt that there was a lot of residue that I missed when claying so I wanted to be sure.

I did use per recommendations from several of you ONR diluted with distilled water for my clay lube and it worked well. Not as well as Adams detail spray but for the money you can liberally spray the paint and the clay often and not feel like your hard earned money is dripping down your car.

I also had my first experience with iron-x. I did this prior to clay and I will say that none of you have exaggerated that smell WOW not the pretty pleasant smells from the Adams camp at all. I am grateful that I did a fairly good job last year with the clay as I did not see much from the IRON-X only a few spots on the entire car.

Ok here you go and before you let me have it I took some pics in the sun prior to doing the glass sorry.

First few Clay Done and Washed.
Next two Brilliant Glaze on then off.
Then Wax, haze and removal.
Rest are results in and out of the sun.
Sorry I-phone pics I am not a camera nerd and I wish I was more computer literate as I would have descriptions with the pics.
Hope you enjoy I truly did enjoy doing the work and trying this product.
It's beyond reason how good it is from application to removal.

That really is a beautiful car, that red is amazing, and all the work just makes it POP! Makes me wish I had that color, love my bumblebee, but I have excepted that it will jsut never have that depth and pop of a red. Again, that looks amazing.

Tell me again why matte/flat finishes are so popular? That gloss looks amazing!

As for the onr not being up to par on clay lube, I agree with you and have been saying that for a while. Try ultima waterless wash concentrate for a much better clay lube that is still like ten times cheaper than liquid gold
